20 Mar 2008
Because of rain on Thursday morning, area 2 has been rescheduled one week!
The new dates for area 2 are Thursday, March 27 and Friday, March 28.
Area 3 dates have not been affected. It is still scheduled for Tuesday, March 25 and Wednesday, March 26.
We had a terrific response from residents in moving their cars from the area. In fact, we would not have had to tow a single vehicle. But, the one thing out of our control is the weather. Because we could not start early enough to assure the sealant would dry, we have had to reschedule. We hope our residents will respond with the same thoughtfulness as they did today.
Next Tuesday, area 3 residents can park in open spots along Trevor Court and Becket as well as on Farrindon from #1475-1578.
Next Thursday, area 2 residents can park in open spots along Trevor Court and Farrindon Circle from #1420–1535. Do NOT park along Becket or anywhere in area 2 (green). Do not park in any of spots on the north side of Farrindon near the mail kiosk. These have been added to area 2 and will be sealed during the scheduled time.

As a reminder, gate entry and exit will be available only through the exit gate March 25-28. Please be courteous of your neighbors during this time as one-lane traffic will require us to work with each other.
URGENT NOTICE: All cars must be off the street and all parking spots in the above areas for the required days. If your car is left in the area on its scheduled day, it will be towed at the owner’s expense.
And, a few reminders based on events during the resealing in Area 1:
1. Your car must be moved by 8:00 AM. If it is not, it will be towed. We will begin towing immediately at 8:00 AM. We will not look for the owners. It is your responsibility to comply with this notice.
2. Do NOT remove the barricades at the end of the day. The surface may look dry but it is not. Driving on it does damage! The barricades will be removed after striping is completed on Day 2.
3. Do NOT walk on the surface. It may look dry but it is not. Not only will this do damage to the surface, it may ruin your shoes. Walk on the apron or in the grass.
4. Remember, the damage done because of these items is your responsibility. The Association (other owners) will not repair the damage done by a few people who can’t abide these simple requests.
Because we realize this requirement will create inconvenience for the days your area is being coated, the Board is allowing residents to park along the street in open areas. As long as you are not blocking a roadway or a parking spot, you may park there. Examples of these areas would include the area at the intersection of Farrindon and Becket and at the end of Trevor Court. Additionally, if you are in area 1 or area 3, there is often additional parking available in the area of Farrindon between Becket and Trevor.
Please make sure that you do not block roadway access, parking spots or dumpster areas as your car will be towed at the owner’s expense.
If you are a non-resident owner with tenants, it is your responsibility to pass this information to them. We have posted notices throughout the property to assist in spreading the word but only you can guarantee that they receive the information and take the appropriate actions.
While we know this creates difficulty for all residents of Barclay Place, we must take this action to do the repairs and sealing of the asphalt. As you know, this will help preserve and even add value to our properties once this project is complete.
Thank you very much for all your cooperation. If you have any questions about the dates of your unit’s schedule, please call Sandy Rathbun at (407) 788-6700, ext. 278 email board@barclayplace-heathrow.com.
